Evaluation of Economic-Weaker Section Reservation Policy

Abstract

This thesis is an attempt to evaluate the socio-economic situation of the students currently studying in IISERs and IITs. A survey was done to study the background of the students which helped to infer how the social and economical conditions can affect the academic performance and achievements. The study also includes the evaluation of reservation policy based on economic status.
