A new chemical approach to chromenes using N, N- dimethyl enaminones

Abstract

A new chemical approach to synthesize Chromenes, which are bicyclic oxygen containing heterocycles has been developed using N,N-dimethyl enaminones. These heterocycles possess interesting biological and pharmacological properties which may be elaborated further for their applications. This methodology provides an easy and straightforward access to a set of Chromenes in a one-pot fashion.
