Abstract
The total volume of macromolecules in the cell is so high that it can affect the behavior and
interactions of individual molecules. This phenomenon is called Macromolecular crowding. It
can lead to the formation of protein condensates, which can be liquid or solid-like high protein
concentrations that are involved in various cellular functions. Macromolecular crowding can also
affect the rates of biochemical reactions, the stability of proteins, and the folding of proteins.
Understanding the effects of macromolecular crowding is crucial for gaining insights into the
complex behavior of biological systems and for developing new therapeutics that can target
specific cellular processes. Our study aims to understand and temporally control protein
conformation dynamics under macromolecular crowded conditions. We have also tried to shed
some light on the effect of protein conformations on the catalytic ability of proteins and
macroscopic physical characteristics of solution in a crowded media.
