| dc.description.abstract | For an ordinary differential field k of characteristic zero, we will prove structure theorems for intermediate differential subfields of liouvillian extensions of k. We apply our results to produce large classes of non linear differential equations having no liouvillian solutions that are transcendental over k. | en_US |
