Abstract: | Graphene has always been a fascinating material because of its extraordinary properties. These properties can be seen vividly when graphene is suspended. A new multilayer graphene system has been reported as turbostratic graphene, where every layer is decoupled from the other layer. In this thesis, the novel properties of the turbostratic graphene have been investigated using various scanning probe techniques. Evidence of magnetic ground state along with other exotic features were found which will be discussed in detail in this thesis. The present study can play a vital role in the development of superior and more efficient graphene based devices |
